This internship will be working in our RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization. This role will support cross-functional teams covering multiple business units in aspects of RTX Corporate Operations and Supply Chain.  


What You Will Do

  • Support the RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization in areas such as product and non-product sourcing, supply chain risk management, performance, analytics, tools, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Operate within a matrixed organization, contributing to processes across the RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization.
  • Assist with supply chain commodity support, including: Conducting operational and spend analysis. Developing and executing sourcing strategies. Participating in supplier negotiations. Supporting supplier performance management. Contributing to business process management initiatives.

 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Operations, or a closely related field and actively enrolled through the duration of the internship.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 credits completed prior to starting the internship. (Please submit a copy of your transcripts with your application.)
  • Experience with SharePoint, including creating sites, maintaining sites, and controlling permissions.
  • Data analytics skills with advanced knowledge and capability in Excel.
  • Ability to create Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience building apps with Microsoft Power Platform.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA required.
  • Proven experience managing projects, with the ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and deliver measurable results independently.
  • Documented success working collaboratively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures, demonstrating adaptability to various work and conflict resolution styles.
  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain principles

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
