The Lin Realty Group, renowned for its expertise in Pasadena, CA's luxury residential market, is seeking a creative Copywriter to join our team. Known for our commitment to unparalleled service, we meticulously manage every detail of our property listings. From thoughtful staging to compelling descriptions, each listing showcases our dedication to excellence and detail. Work flexibly and remotely, dedicating around 30 hours a week to creating prose that belongs beside the listings of the most coveted properties in Pasadena. Compensation: $50/hr for 30 hours per week. Responsibilities: What You Will Bring to the Table: Are you capable of capturing the soul of a home? Can you narrate a property's story in such a vivid way that prospective buyers can see themselves turning the key in their new front door? If you're someone who believes a property description can be poetic, aspirational, and a piece of art in its own right, we're looking for you. Your Mission: • Collaborate with Sellers via Zoom to unearth the essence of each home - the whispers of history in the hallways, the lazy sunsets viewed from the patio, and the yearly traditions that make the neighborhood more than just a collection of houses. • Craft mesmerizing, narrative-driven content that transcends traditional property descriptions, evoking feelings, aspirations, and a deep yearning for a lifestyle only this home can fulfill. • Interview our home buyers and artfully craft their "buyer love letters" to give them an edge when submitting offers. • Interview home sellers to learn what they love about their home and then leverage that info into short and long-form copy. • Write video walk-through scripts (both dialogue and stage direction for videos). • Write intro/outro and question prompts for owner interviews. • Help clients draft written testimonials after the sale is complete. • Write social copy related to listings (to pair with video/images on Instagram). • Write copy that goes into marketing pieces. Qualifications: Your Toolkit Should Include: • A Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, or a related field. • Proven prowess in creative writing, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to engage, persuade, and transport readers. • Well-versed in different architectural styles, building materials, etc. • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills that allow you to catch even the most elusive nuances of a property. • A creative and adaptable approach to writing, with a readiness to push the boundaries of traditional real estate copy. • The ability to seek out and value feedback, working collaboratively to refine and enhance your prose. • Strong organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of your work. Compensation: $50 hourly
