The Training Manager leads the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of assigned training programs to ensure learners, trainers, and classes meet readiness, quality, and operational performance expectations.
Responsibilities are grouped around program execution, performance ownership, stakeholder alignment, trainer capability, learner support, and operational effectiveness.
The Training Manager demonstrates strong ownership and accountability for training outcomes. This includes communicating performance insights, risks, and actions clearly; building collaborative relationships with trainers and stakeholders; applying sound judgment in managing learner and trainer performance; and maintaining adaptability in a dynamic, performance-driven environment.
The Training Manager manages training delivery and ensures alignment with defined standards. This includes coaching trainers to improve facilitation, learner engagement, and performance support; using data and assessments to drive targeted interventions; designing and implementing learning and performance improvement strategies; and driving adoption of knowledge management and learning tools.
The Training Manager contributes to business impact by owning class-level performance outcomes, including NHT, readiness, and attrition risk indicators.
This role supports improved client experience and stakeholder satisfaction, drives continuous learning and performance improvement initiatives, supports cost efficiency through effective training execution, and provides insights that inform operational and training decisions.
The Training Manager must apply nursing knowledge to ensure training delivery reflects accurate clinical concepts, workflows, documentation expectations, and role-specific clinical decision-making requirements.
This includes coaching trainers and learners on correct application of clinical processes, clarifying clinical questions, reinforcing proper interpretation during training and OJT, and ensuring clinical content is delivered with the accuracy expected of a nurse-led training function.
