About the Role

The Clinical Research Analyst II builds ComPsych's clinical outcomes and client experience measurement program, applying program evaluation and measurement-based care methods to define how we measure whether clients improve and how they experience our services. This role designs the measurement methodology, administers the survey instruments used to collect outcomes and experience data, and turns the results into scorecards and recurring reports for clinical and operations leadership. It also connects those findings to provider network performance to drive improvements in service quality. Working closely with clinical leadership, this role exercises discretion and independent judgment in translating clinical and operational objectives into measurable outcomes, identifying trends and opportunities, and recommending improvements that influence clinical quality, service delivery, and ComPsych's demonstrated value to customers.

What You'll Do

  • Administer ongoing collection of clinical outcomes and client experience data across ComPsych's domestic and global service lines, including international intake centers and global partners
  • Own and administer ComPsych's survey platform, including instrument design, routing logic, pilot testing, user access, and data integrity
  • Identify, gather, and consolidate data from multiple, disconnected sources into a unified reporting structure
  • Define and document calculation methodologies for validated clinical outcome measures and client experience measures, including scoring windows, thresholds for clinically meaningful change, and treatment of incomplete or non-response data
  • Design and develop scorecards and reporting frameworks to track clinical outcomes and client experience, where none currently exist
  • Own and maintain a standard suite of recurring outcomes and experience reports for clinical and operations leadership
  • Analyze trends, anomalies, and insights across outcomes and experience measures to inform service delivery, customer-facing impact reports, and strategic research questions related to behavioral health trends, service outcomes, or product development
  • Combine outcomes and experience data with provider network performance data to identify performance gaps and drive improvements in external network quality
  • Collaborate with the clinical research team on ad hoc research projects, white papers, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Support the leadership team in driving continuous improvement of clinical workflows and programs, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and clinical innovation using internal and industry benchmarks
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in psychology, public health, statistics, program evaluation, data science, or a related behavioral or social science field
  • 3+ years of experience in program evaluation, health services research, applied research, or data-driven quality improvement, preferably in a clinical, behavioral health, or healthcare environment
  • Working knowledge of measurement-based care and validated patient-reported outcome instruments, including how scores are interpreted clinically
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data interpretation in applied research settings, including the ability to distinguish meaningful change from normal variation
  • Experience extracting and consolidating data from multiple sources and working with large datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, Microsoft Access, or similar
  • Experience conducting analysis using statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, or similar is preferred
  • Experience designing and administering surveys on an enterprise survey platform, including instrument build, logic and routing, and data export; direct experience with LimeSurvey is a plus
  • Demonstrated ownership of deliverables from data collection through final reporting, with high attention to accuracy and proactive communication of timelines, risks, or data limitations to stakeholders
  • Ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, working independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Other Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise is required
  • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much more
  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
