MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  Supervision 
•  Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities
•  Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing; coordinating, and enforcing systems; policies, procedures, and productivity standards
•  Administers bonus structure for appropriate personnel as approved according to EHC’s approved procedures.  
•  Ensures direct reports understand the bonus structure and know how to align personal performance with Departmental and Corporate goals in order to earn the bonus. 
  Health & Safety 
•  According to the company's requirements, complete the Department's health, SAFETY and environmental protection related training and education.
•  Actively participate in the company's emergency rescue drill.
•  Timely find and rectify the SAFETY risks existing in the Department, timely eliminate the accident risks found out, and report to the plant director and HSE.
•  Once an accident occurs, take measures to prevent the accident from expanding, report to the superior or relevant Departments in time, and pay attention to protecting the site and making records.
•  Personally participate in the investigation of any accidents in the Department, make accident cause analysis, improve the Department risk assessment table, put forward and implement SAFETY precautions.
•  Ensure that all employees of the Department clearly understand the responsibilities of SAFETY and environmental protection and sign the letter in person.
•  Lead grass-roots employees to actively participate in regular SAFETY committee meetings and implement various tasks assigned in the meetings.         Quality
•  Responsible for ensuring products and services meet approved standards at EHC by following and enforcing EHC and ISO quality standards and procedures; the maintenance of document control of factory work instructions and factory control quality plans. 
•  Reviews processes and products for ongoing improvements to prevent potential quality failures and scrap; and implements, trains and sustains 5S improvements. 
•  Addresses Corrective Action Requests by investigating the causes and making improvements to prevent recurrence.
  Productivity
•  Ensures we manufacture the most cost effective products while meeting our Safety, Quality and Delivery goals by daily reviewing production activities and by maximizing efficient use of resources; monitoring production statistics in order to direct efforts that will provide the greatest improvement to downtime reduction and increased throughput; monitoring the use of labour, materials, supplies, utilities in order to direct efforts to reduce waste and costs; coordinating and ensuring process enhancements are implemented in a timely and cost effective manner.
•  Works with the Production Scheduler to ensure acceptable Standard Delivery Dates are maintained in Shanghai through the effective application of equipment and human resources.
•  Oversees the Shanghai production scheduling process by setting up the ERP system to accurately reflect our process parameters and reviewing with the Production Scheduler on an on-going basis.
  Budget Process
•  Is accountable to run the Shanghai facility within approved budgets by assisting the Operations Director, China in the preparation of capital, personnel, and expense budgets for the Shanghai facility; and on a monthly basis, monitors and recommends corrective actions where necessary.  
•  Monitors and acts upon incorrect information found in the actual performance by comparing actual costs to the established budget or to historical data.  
  Reports
Responsible for preparing and submitting reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing month-end data and providing recommendations to management for improvements.
  Inventory
Works with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure inventory procedures and practices are adhered to and maximum inventory accuracy is maintained.
  Technical Knowledge
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/seminars; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
