Responsibilities

  • Carry out all stages of the sales cycle (from lead generation/ prospecting to closing, including customer loyalty, retention, and growth through cross‑selling/up‑selling)

  • Visit clients and potential clients to understand their needs and present solutions that are technically feasible for them

  • Analyze the market and anticipate potential needs

  • Prepare technical‑commercial proposals, present them, and negotiate with clients

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (preferably Environmental Sciences, Food Industries, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural and Animal Production)

  • Professional experience in business development and/or technical‑commercial activities (2 years preferred)

  • Professional experience in the areas in which ALS Life Sciences Portugal, S.A. operates (highly valued, whether in consulting and/or commercial roles)

  • Ability to build and maintain close, trustworthy relationships with clients

  • Customer orientation

  • Resilience and strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Initiative, ability to manage priorities, and strong organizational/planning skills

  • Challenge motivated and results‑ and goal‑oriented

  • Proactivity, strong teamwork skills, and adaptability to different contexts and people

  • Strong personal presence and credibility

Responsabilidades

  • Atividades do ciclo de vendas (desde a geração/prospeção até ao fecho, incluindo fidelização, retenção de clientes e crescimento (cross-selling/up selling))

  • Visitar clientes e potenciais clientes com vista a compreender as suas necessidades e apresentar soluções que tecnicamente sejam viáveis ao cliente

  • Analisar o mercado e antecipar eventuais necessidades

  • Elaborar propostas técnico-comerciais, apresentar e negociar as mesmas

O que procuramos

  • Mínimo Licenciatura em área cientifica (preferencial Ciências do ambiente, Indústrias alimentares, Biologia, Química, Bioquímica, Biotecnologia, Ciências veterinárias, Produção agrícola e animal)

  • Experiência profissional em desenvolvimento de negócios e/ou atividade técnico-comercial (2 anos) (condição preferencial)

  • Experiência profissional nas áreas de atuação da ALS Life Sciences Portugal, S.A. (muito diferenciado, consultoria e/ou Comercial)

  • Capacidade de construir e estabelecer relações próximas e de confiança com os clientes

  • Orientação para o Cliente

  • Resiliência e capacidade de negociação e comunicação

  • Capacidade de iniciativa, gestão de prioridade e organização/planeamento

  • Gosto por desafios e forte orientação para objetivos e resultados

  • Proatividade, boa capacidade de trabalho em equipa e de adaptação a diferentes contextos e pessoas

  • Forte presença pessoal e credibilidade
