Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Head with 20+ years of experience in the Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic client relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and leading the business development function across India.
The candidate must have extensive experience in geotechnical solutions and be willing to travel across India for client meetings, project discussions, and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and secure new infrastructure, geotechnical, and construction projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, EPC contractors, consultants, and private clients.
- Lead client presentations, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Track upcoming tenders and business opportunities across India.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, project, and management teams during bid preparation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare business forecasts, sales reports, and revenue projections.
- Represent the company in client meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Ensure achievement of annual business targets and revenue goals.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (Preferred)
- MBA in Marketing/Business Management (Added Advantage)
Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Business Development within the Construction or Geotechnical Industry.
- Proven experience in handling high-value infrastructure projects.
- Strong network with Government Departments, EPC Contractors, Consultants, and Infrastructure Companies.
- Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
