Business Consulting- Order to Cash (O2C) - Manager - Open Location

The Opportunity

As a Manager in the Order to Cash (O2C) practice, you will help clients optimize and transform their revenue cycle operations by combining deep business process expertise with technology-enabled transformation capabilities. You will work directly with client stakeholders across finance, sales operations, customer service, shared services, and IT organizations to improve cash flow, reduce revenue leakage, increase operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

You will lead workstreams across the delivery lifecycle, from current-state assessments and process design through solution implementation, testing, deployment, and value realization. Success in this role requires the ability to connect business objectives with process improvements, technology solutions, data insights, and organizational change.

This role involves collaboration with client teams across multiple locations and requires flexibility to travel to client sites as needed, with travel expectations of up to 60%.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing Order to Cash transformation engagements and define clear project objectives, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Assess current-state O2C processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop future-state operating models.
• Identify opportunities for improvement leveraging technologies such as automation, orchestration and AI, supporting a continuous improvement for our clients
• Drive transformation initiatives across customer billing, invoicing, collections, cash application, deductions management, dispute resolution, and revenue accounting processes.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, define process improvements, and develop implementation roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops with finance, accounts receivable, customer service, sales operations, and shared service teams.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, process flows, user stories, testing scenarios, and deployment plans.
• Support system implementation, configuration, testing, and adoption activities across O2C technology platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve working capital, accelerate cash collection, reduce aging receivables, and enhance operational performance.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution while providing regular updates to client and engagement leadership.
• Lead and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing delivery environment.
• Support business development activities, including proposals, solution demonstrations, estimates, and client presentations.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Deep understanding of Order to Cash processes including invoicing, billing, collections, cash application, deductions, dispute management, and revenue accounting.
• Understanding of AI technologies and methodology for an AI-enabled Order to Cash and Finance transformation
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and revenue subledger processes.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements across accounts receivable and cash management functions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives across finance and operations organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
• Experience developing business cases, process documentation, testing plans, and deployment strategies.

To Qualify for the Role, you must have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Operations, Finance Transformation, Shared Services, or Consulting.
• Experience leading or supporting O2C transformation initiatives across invoicing, billing, collections, cash application, deductions, and revenue accounting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and revenue management platforms such as SAP, HighRadius, Zuora, or similar solutions.
• Understanding of leading AI platforms and models, including prompting related to process improvement and order to cash insights
• Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle processes and related controls.
• Experience producing process maps, business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, training materials, and implementation documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
• Ability and willingness to work directly with clients and travel as required by engagement needs. Travel can range up to 60%.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

• Experience supporting global business services or shared services transformations.
• Experience with process automation, AI-enabled finance operations, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Knowledge of working capital optimization and cash flow improvement strategies.
• Experience with analytics and reporting solutions supporting accounts receivable operations.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP or finance transformation programs.
• Relevant certifications in SAP, Agile, Project Management, or Finance Transformation.

• The salary range for this job is:
  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $154,000 to $256,700
  • Bay Area California offices – $160,500 to $267,400
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $128,400 to $235,300
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
