Boomi Developer (part-time/hourly)

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Part-time, hourly, fully remote. Work hours will be scheduled within EST business hours.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in Dell Boomi to support a growing US-based company. This role is focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise integrations across multiple business applications. The ideal candidate will build complex integrations beyond standard connectors, develop custom connectors, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with a technical team to deliver scalable solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integrations using Dell Boomi.

• Build and maintain custom connectors when native platform connectors do not meet business requirements.

• Develop integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.

• Configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure reliability and performance.

• Design and consume RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other web service integrations.

• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and recommend scalable solutions.

• Perform code reviews and quality assurance (QA) on integration work completed by team members.

• Mentor and train junior developers on Boomi development, integration best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Document integration designs, technical specifications, and deployment processes.

• Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and optimization of existing integration solutions.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing integrations using Dell Boomi.

• Proven experience participating in enterprise system implementation or integration projects.

• Strong experience with middleware technologies and iPaaS platforms, particularly Dell Boomi.

• Demonstrated experience building custom connectors and advanced integration processes.

• Strong experience working with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, and web services.

• Experience integrating cloud applications, ERP, CRM, databases, and other enterprise systems.

• Strong understanding of API design, authentication methods, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor technical team members.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Experience building custom connectors for Azure Service Bus.

• Experience integrating SaaS platforms, cloud applications, or enterprise software.

• Experience with API Management platforms or messaging technologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and DevOps practices.

• Experience in consulting or client-facing technical environments.
