This is a remote position.
We are looking for a driven and creative Automation Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of intelligent automation systems, including NextJs UI testing, API testing, and workflow orchestration, using AI-powered frameworks and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for NextJs UI and backend APIs.
Implement intelligent test generation, execution, and reporting systems using AI-assisted tools.
Automate workflows, business processes, and deployment activities using AI/ML techniques and automation platforms.
Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams to define automation requirements and integrate testing across CI/CD pipelines.
Apply machine learning, natural language processing, or generative AI models to improve efficiency in testing and automation.
Monitor and optimize automation systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and minimal false positives.
Develop internal tools or dashboards to visualize and manage automation results and workflow health.
Requirements
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software test automation for web applications.
Strong experience with automated UI testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
Experience writing automated API tests using tools such as Postman, Hopscotch or custom scripts in JavaScript or Python.
Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
Experience testing React or Next.js applications.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and authentication mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.
Experience designing and maintaining end-to-end testing frameworks.
Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose complex issues across frontend and backend systems.
Experience implementing test reporting dashboards and automation metrics.
Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools or intelligent test generation frameworks.
