The Asset Manager is the person on the ground driving culture change at the plant — someone who can look at data, understand what it means, and present it in a way that gets people to act. Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience in asset management, preferably within the float glass manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in conducting refractory and operational audits.
• Ability to assess refractory condition, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate maintenance or replacement actions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational and sensor data and turn it into a clear, business-relevant narrative that drives decisions.
• Flexible and agile: comfortable adjusting priorities and approach across different plants, cultures, and program tiers while keeping sight of the customer's overall business outcome.
• Comfort supporting a technical sales process, including customer pilots, and an instinct for building and reinforcing the value case that supports contract renewal.
• Willingness and ability to train others — customers and internal teams — including supporting the Data Science team on Digital Furnace Assistant (DFA) training.
• Familiarity with applicable safety regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to conduct comprehensive audits and prepare clear, accurate reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Based in the United States, preferably within reasonable proximity to a major international airport.
• Travel to customer sites as needed, with more frequent travel during the initial onboarding period and when technical sales support is requiredValid driver’s license and passport, with the ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to work safely in active industrial environments and perform the essential physical duties of the role, including working in high-heat conditions and extended on-site hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The Asset Manager will:

• Take ownership of customer-defined KPIs and collaborate closely with internal and plant teams to support the effective monitoring and maintenance of furnaces.
• Analyze operational data together with PaneraTech sensor data to connect operating decisions to their impact on refractory wear rate and campaign life. Translate that data into clear, prioritized recommendations that plant leadership can act on — the core mechanism for shifting customers from intuition-based to data-driven operations.
• Conduct monthly review meetings with relevant teams and provide recommendations aligned with the production and CAPEX objectives of each furnace.
• Drive implementation of proper furnace operating and maintenance practices and turn deviations into clear, actionable improvement plans.
• Support plant personnel in using the XSight platform to conduct daily furnace inspections and monitoring.
• Prepare customers for AI-assisted furnace operation by building their comfort and trust in data ahead of the Digital Furnace Assistant (DFA) rollout.
• Improve asset visibility across customer organizations.
• Develop and deliver customer training on PaneraTech’s digital asset monitoring technologies.
• Provide technical support and coordinate the resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, customer interactions, and technical support activities.
• Prepare reports on customer feedback, system performance, audit findings, and recommended actions.
• Coordinate internally with Auditors, Reporter, Project and Engineering teams to ensure the program is delivered consistently and on time.
• Stay current with advancements and new features in PaneraTech’s technologies.
• Manage the auditing and monitoring of multiple glass furnaces across different plants.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution and communicate customer needs across relevant departments.
