We are hiring an Area Sales Manager for our Seeds Business. 

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales growth and market success of the Seeds business within your designated region. You will build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, farmers, distributors, and business partners while leading and coordinating the daily activities of the sales promotion team.

This role is accountable for developing and executing the area sales strategy, ensuring alignment with both country and marketing objectives, and effectively deploying resources to maximize business performance. Working closely with the CTS and Marketing teams, you will deliver agreed marketing plans, leverage the full portfolio of Seeds solutions, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships that support long-term customer success and sustainable business growth. The Area Sales Manager reports directly to the Country Sales Manager.

This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Your Challenge:

  • Overall market evaluation: segment exploration, market assessment, opportunity identification, market potential and attractiveness evaluations.
  • Customer and business partners and market related activities: account management, relationship building, contract negotiations, competitive analysis, profitability analysis, demand management.
  • Ensure / accountable of the forecasting of his/her area.
  • Build sales policy and distribution strategy to deliver sales goals align with marketing strategy.
  • Other business-related activities: connected to internal departments such as customer service, credit financial services and supply chain to account strategy.
  • Accountable for achieving sales, profitability in the area.
  • Accountable for managing accounts receivable performance and achieving defined targets (DSO, % current).
  • Ensuring proper product stewardship and compliance with EH&S, sales processes and company policies.
  • Developing contacts and strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Contribute to the “go to market” strategy and how to win in the area.
  • As part of the go to market identify the Channel strategy in the area.
  • Accountable for understanding and appropriate implementation of local compensation and benefits practices.

Location: Poland

Key Stakeholders and Interactions

  • Internal: Promotors, Marketing team, Customer Service & Logistics, Accounting.
  • External: Key Farmers, Seed Associations, Farmers’ teams, Local stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in agribusiness.
  • Strong knowledge of the Polish agriculture market and customer landscape
  • Strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region and work out of home office
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships within the industry
  • Business English Proficiency
  • Fluency in Polish
