ABOUT THE ROLE

Ruvixx is looking for an Engagement Specialist to support license compliance and anti-piracy initiatives across APAC.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, persistence, and experience in sales, legal services, collections, account management, compliance, dispute resolution, or customer-facing negotiation.

You will help manage conversations with companies and end-users regarding software usage, compliance findings, and potential licensing discrepancies. The role requires professionalism, confidence, strong follow-up, and the ability to communicate clearly in sensitive or high-pressure situations.

This is not a standard customer support role. We are looking for someone who can handle objections, stay organized, and move complex conversations forward with structure and resilience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Engage with end-users and companies regarding software compliance cases.
  • Follow up consistently on open cases, stalled conversations, and pending responses.
  • Support the resolution of licensing discrepancies through clear and professional communication.
  • Review investigation data, usage information, and case details to understand each situation.
  • Build organized case summaries and support documentation for internal tracking.
  • Conduct online research to verify company information, contacts, and potential leads.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and internal trackers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to keep cases moving and improve workflow efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in sales, legal services, collections, account management, compliance, dispute resolution, or another negotiation-heavy role.
  • Strong written and spoken English for business conversations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively.
  • Resilience when handling objections, pushback, or delayed responses.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document cases accurately.
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online research.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and follow-ups at the same time.
  • Based anywhere in APAC.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in software license compliance, anti-piracy, IP protection, or SaaS compliance.
  • Experience negotiating settlements, payment agreements, renewals, or commercial resolutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, Excel, Google Sheets, or data tracking tools.
  • Background in B2B sales, legal operations, revenue recovery, or compliance investigations.

WHY THIS ROLE MAY INTEREST YOU

This role offers the opportunity to specialize in a growing area of technology: software compliance, intellectual property protection, and revenue recovery.

You will work in a remote international environment, develop experience in complex business conversations, and build expertise in a niche area that combines communication, investigation, compliance, and negotiation.

COMPENSATION

  • Fixed compensation of up to $1,000 USD/month.
  • Performance-based commissions of up to approximately $400 USD/month.
  • Independent Contractor agreement.
  • 3-month trial period with performance review.
  • Long-term renewable contract.

READY TO APPLY?

If you are persistent, organized, confident in English, and motivated by roles that require communication, negotiation, and problem-solving, we would be happy to hear from you.

Please submit your English CV and highlight any experience related to sales, legal services, collections, compliance, account management, negotiation, or case follow-up.
