JOB SUMMARY:

Our unmanned surveillance division is seeking a part-time AIMS Editor (REMOTE) to review footage from remote surveillance cameras and write clear, factual reports on the activity it captures. Our clients make real decisions based on these reports, so the quality of your writing and the accuracy of your observations directly shape the outcome of a claim.

This is a strong fit for someone who is genuinely detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with focused independent work. No prior investigation experience is required and we will train you on our systems and reporting standards. What matters is that you can concentrate for long stretches, notice what others miss, and describe exactly what you see in writing that is clear and free of assumptions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Video Review – Review footage from unmanned surveillance cameras and identify activity relevant to the claim.

- Report Writing – Create clear, accurate written updates and reports documenting the claimant's activities as revealed in the footage.

- Accuracy & Objectivity – Document only what the footage shows, using precise and objective language. 

- Turnaround – Complete reviews and reports within established quality and turnaround standards. 

- Escalation – Flag notable or time-sensitive activity to the Operations Manager or Director of AIMS. 

- Confidentiality – Handle claim and claimant information with strict confidentiality. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience:

- No prior experience required. Training is provided.

Skills:

- Exceptional attention to detail (required).

- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to describe observations clearly and objectively (required).

- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload with limited day-to-day supervision (required).

- Dependability and consistent follow-through on assigned work (required).

- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy during extended periods of video review (required).

- Basic computer proficiency (required).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a remote position working in a home office environment. The role requires frequent prolonged periods of a stationary position and extended time viewing video footage on a computer screen. Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity equipment is required. A dedicated private workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection are required. Frequent communication by telephone and in writing with co-workers is expected.
