AI and Business Systems Specialist

Sequoia Ecological Consulting is a Northern California-based environmental consulting firm looking for an AI and Business Systems Specialist to join our team full-time and fully remote.

In this role, you’ll help identify, build, and maintain workflows and automations powered by artificial intelligence (AI), support our current rollout of Deltek VantagePoint CRM and its integration with our Microsoft 365 environment, and create AI-assisted marketing and proposal content. You’ll also run periodic AI training for our team and support staff in their use of AI. You’ll report to our Operations Manager.

You’ll need:

• Three or more years working with AI tools, automation, or digital operations
• Strong hands-on experience with Claude
• Experience with Zapier, Make, or n8n
• Basic knowledge of application programming interfaces and webhooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus points for: WordPress experience; experience with Deltek VantagePoint or similar CRM, project management, and accounting platforms; Microsoft 365 experience (SharePoint and OneDrive); Canva or Adobe experience; and basic Python or scripting knowledge.
