Job Description

Education Required:   Bachelor’s degree required in English, English Education, or 

                                       Communications. Master’s degree preferred

Experience:                 A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience required, online teaching experience required. Experience in Canvas Learning Management System highly desired.  

Responsibilities: 

Courses include: Introduction to College Writing; Public Speaking

Course set-up and quality review

Weekly engagement on discussion board

Grading and providing individual feedback to students

Regular communication with students and administrators

Various administrative functions related to reporting and student engagement

Application Procedures: Employment will be for the Summer and Fall 2027 semester.  Applicants must submit a cover letter outlining the specific courses they are qualified to teach, their direct background creating and teaching in an online setting, and their teaching philosophy. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
