JOB SUMMARY
Own the complete customer lifecycle, from prospecting and solution consulting through onboarding, partnering with the Performance Media Manager team on ongoing campaign optimization after handoff.
This is a consultative, customer-facing role that combines business development, sales, customer success, and performance marketing into one seamless experience. Rather than handing people between multiple teams, you serve as the trusted marketing advisor, helping brands use Clarvos' AI-powered advertising platform to simplify campaign planning, audience development, creative strategy, execution, and long-term growth.You'll generate pipeline, deliver customized product demonstrations, build tailored demo environments, close new business, configure workspaces, launch campaigns, hand off activated accounts to the Performance Media Manager team, identify expansion opportunities, and partner cross-functionally to improve the experience while influencing product development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pipeline and solution consulting
- Build and manage target account lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and other prospecting tools
- Execute outbound prospecting through cold email, LinkedIn, personalized video, referrals, events, and other multi-channel outreach
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities against Clarvos' Ideal Customer Profile
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand business objectives, marketing challenges, advertising strategy, and growth goals
- Own and deliver personalized product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's business goals
- Build and maintain customized demo environments using realistic products, audiences, campaign strategies, and AI-powered insights
- Translate complex advertising workflows into simple, business-focused solutions for founders, CEOs, and marketing leaders
- Negotiate commercial terms, manage contracts, and close new business opportunities
Onboarding, activation, and growth
- Reconfigure demo environments into live workspaces following contract execution when applicable
- Lead onboarding, including platform setup, Meta authorization, pixel implementation, tracking validation, and integrations
- Guide customers through campaign activation and ensure a successful first launch
- Develop initial audience strategies, campaign structures, and creative testing plans in partnership with the Performance Media Manager team ahead of launch
- Launch paid media campaigns across supported advertising platforms and confirm early performance ahead of handoff
- Hand off activated accounts to the Performance Media Manager team, providing full context on customer goals, strategy, and account history for ongoing management and optimization
- Remain the customer's primary relationship owner post-handoff, partnering with the Performance
- Media Manager team on performance updates, reporting, and account health, and educating customers on ROAS, CAC, CTR, CPM, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, and attribution
- Drive adoption of Clarvos' AI-powered recommendations, automation workflows, and platform capabilities
- Conduct strategic business reviews and identify opportunities for expansion, upsells, and renewals
- Maintain accurate documentation of activity, performance, and account health within HubSpot
- Capture voice of customer feedback and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve the experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5+ years in AdTech, MarTech, digital advertising, performance marketing, media sales, account management, customer success, or solution consulting
- Experience at an advertising technology company, publisher, media company, agency, retail media network, DSP, SSP, or digital advertising platform
- Proven success prospecting, developing pipeline, managing relationships, and growing advertising accounts
- Experience delivering consultative sales presentations, product demonstrations, and strategic recommendations
- Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including audience targeting, campaign planning, media buying, attribution, and optimization
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and familiarity with Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, Reddit Ads, or similar
- Experience implementing Meta Pixels, Conversions API (CAPI), event tracking, integrations, and campaign activation
- Strong understanding of media performance metrics, including ROAS, CAC, CTR, CPM, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, lifetime value, and attribution modeling
- Experience working with ecommerce, retail, DTC, CPG, consumer brands, or agencies supporting those industries
- Comfortable presenting to founders, CEOs, CMOs, and senior business stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable owning the complete customer lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Background at a platform, network, or agency close to this world, plus experience with AI-powered advertising, marketing automation, or campaign optimization tools, and time spent inside a startup or high-growth company.
- Experience with Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Reddit, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon Ads, Walmart
- Experience with Connect, Instacart Ads, The Trade Desk, Criteo, StackAdapt, Magnite, PubMatic, Yahoo DSP, Shopify, Klaviyo, HubSpot
