Account Executive - UT

Position Summary 

 Account Executives are the key interface between Cassling and its customers, acting as a Trusted Advisor.  This person will act as the “CEO” of their assigned territory representing all of Cassling and its products to the customer while consulting to provide total solutions to their needs.  The Account Executive improves business and operating results by generating sales of Siemens imaging systems to hospitals and imaging centers in the assigned territory.  This role plays a critical part in the consultative sales process, impacting our Key Results of Growth, Profit, Customer Service, Accountability and Employee Development. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

• Act as a Trusted Advisor for Siemens Healthineers capital imaging equipment and digital solutions for healthcare providers 

• Must be willing to meet and exceed applicable sales quotas to increase market share within assigned sales territory 

• Develop, build and strengthen customer relationships through excellent customer service 

• Have a firm grasp on how to properly implement various sales strategies at appropriate times with different customers.  

• Work with Project Management, Installation, Education, Service, Marketing and other Sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and timeliness of delivery  

• Understand and speak to the customers’ workflows and business model, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to provide solutions as a Trusted Advisor, consultant and partner in their mission and vision. 

• Work with the Regional Vice President to develop and present a quarterly overall territory sales plan that accurately forecasts possible deals for the quarter and year, ensuring order volume and customer satisfaction targets are met. 

• Keep abreast of industry trends and current Cassling product portfolio via product training, sales meetings, trade shows, conventions, and local, state, and national seminars. 

• Must be willing to travel extensively (75% or more) to cover territory 

• Willing and able to work beyond a normal 40 hour work week, with irregular hours, sustaining whatever effort is necessary to get the job done. 

• Willing and able to cover every assigned account in a minimally structured and loosely supervised work environment. 

• Required to remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace policy. 

• Required to maintain DMV (motor vehicle) record as described in the company’s Fleet policy. 

• Required to adhere to hospital credentialing requirements including but not limited to annual immunization, drug screening, background checks, etc. as dictated by sited Joint Commission policy. 

Requirements

Education & Experience 

• Education: BS/BA in Business or relevant work experience 

• Experience: Minimum three years of sales experience involving complex bundled deals 

• Prior experience in healthcare sales. The more technical and clinical, the better 

• Medical capital equipment experience is a huge plus 

• Excellent listening and communication skills 

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, particularly at the executive level 

• Oral presentation and written communication skills 

• Demonstrated ability to create multi-year strategic deals 

• Strong ethics and unwavering integrity 

• Strong leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to effectively leverage others. 

• Openness to coaching and occasional ride-alongs with the Regional Vice President
