AI Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for driving net-new growth by hunting and winning new logos across non-profit, corporate, and association sectors. This includes owning the full sales cycle from account identification and enterprise mapping to closing deals ranging from $15,000 to $75,000.

The Impact You’ll Have

As an SMB Account Executive, you are the catalyst for Quorum's net-new growth. You will own the front-end sales strategy for prospective clients across the non-profit, corporate, and association sectors, typically managing deals in the $15,000 to $75,000 range. Your sole focus will be hunting and winning new logos, ensuring that public affairs teams recognize the power of Quorum from day one. (Note: This role is entirely dedicated to new business and does not include renewal or expansion responsibilities).

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Mastery: Own the entire sales strategy from initial account identification and prioritization through to mapping the enterprise, developing a bespoke solution, and driving the deal through procurement to close.

  • Enterprise Mapping: Communicate directly with prospects to uncover their deep individual and organizational needs. You will "map the enterprise" to identify every business unit affected by the challenges Quorum solves, securing high-value clients via strategic, multi-product, multi-stakeholder sales.

  • Relationship & Influence: Establish strong, trusted business relationships with prospects to generate cross-functional influence, continually developing new business opportunities to fuel the company's growth.

  • Pipeline Generation: Actively develop and implement industry-specific sales strategies. You will engage your personal network, conduct targeted research, and leverage external events to increase brand awareness and uncover fresh opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner collaboratively with marketing, product, and customer success teams to identify and develop strategic opportunities that best support the enterprise market.

  • Peer Coaching: Actively engage in peer-to-peer coaching and provide constructive feedback to ensure the collective growth and success of the entire sales team.

About You

  • The Track Record: You have 2+ years of SaaS sales experience and have successfully carried an annual goal of $400k+ in new logo sales with a $25k–$40k+ Average Selling Price (ASP), consistently meeting or exceeding quota.

  • The Complex Closer: You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across many levels of a business, both internally and externally.

  • The Pipeline Owner: You can effortlessly manage a pipeline with varying degrees of velocity, sales price, and complexity. You inherently grasp the importance of owning your number and managing the controllable inputs needed to hit it.

  • The Self-Starter: You are completely comfortable sourcing your own pipeline, building long-term business relationships, and leveraging all available resources to master whatever you put your mind to.

  • The Product Expert: You love mastering a complex product and can sell effectively in both greenspace (selling the need for software) and takeaway scenarios (selling against a competitor) while leveraging a sales engineer only when absolutely necessary.

  • The Detail-Oriented Partner: You are incredibly detail-oriented—you take meticulous notes on calls, provide swift follow-ups, and respect the importance of a clean sales process and solid documentation.

  • The Rockstar Factor (Preferred): You’re an ideal fit if you have previously sold public affairs software, have in-house/firm experience as a public affairs professional, or have worked directly alongside lawmakers and lobbyists.
