The Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring and expanding shipper accounts across FTL, LTL, intermodal, and expedited freight, while owning customer relationships and pricing strategies. They must also lead, coach, and deploy their small team to achieve margin and growth targets and collaborate on strategy.

JOB TYPE & LOCATION:
- Contract (1099), Commission-based
- Remote/field-based; travel to customers as needed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Win and grow shipper accounts across FTL/LTL/intermodal/expedited as applicable to your focus
- Own customer relationships, pricing strategies, and day-to-day book management
- Lead, coach, and deploy your 1–5 person team to hit margin and growth targets
- Collaborate with our leadership on strategy, capacity, and expansion opportunities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of sales experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and specific time frames.
- Customer Service-oriented.
- Computer competent (Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills required.
