The role involves designing and building low-poly, stylized characters while establishing the overall visual aesthetic and comedic language for the game. You will also be responsible for rigging, animating, and integrating these assets directly into the Unity engine.
Company: Proxima Studio (Creators of Suck Up!)
Location: Remote / Flexible
Role Type: Full-Time Contract or Permanent
We are the indie team behind Suck Up!, where we turned goofy social deduction and conversational AI into pure comedic chaos (with over 200m views on YouTube). Now, we are building our next title: a management simulation that sits between the sandbox of The Sims and the chaotic comedy of Schedule 1.
We operate small, fast, and scrappy. We value creative ownership, rapid prototyping, and people who can establish a cohesive, signature visual language from the ground up.
We are seeking a 3D Artist & Animator who’s a cartoonist at heart: Someone who can create, build and animate expressive, lovable, degenerate characters, and imbue these characters and the broader game with a signature art style.
In this role, you will help establish the visual anchor for our next title. You will bridge high-level artistic vision with hands-on 3D asset creation and direct Unity integration.
