Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer to support one of our fastest-growing clients in the Cybersecurity and IAM space. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Required:
- 5+ years of recent DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least 3 of the following AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, with hands-on deployment expertise.
- 2 years of Kubernetes experience, including containerization.
- Familiarity with Terraform for managing AWS infrastructure, including reading and authoring configuration files.
- Coding proficiency in Python, Bash, or Golang, beyond scripting.
- Knowledge of security tools like firewalls and DDos prevention.
Desired:
- 3+ years of CI/CD experience with Github or Github Actions.
- Exposure to Google Cloud or Azure.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies.
- Experience with security audits and standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Responsibilities:
- Building and supporting scalable, secure infrastructure.
- Providing technology recommendations for AWS implementations.
- Collaborating with teammates to design and implement controls for safety and accuracy.
- Directly implementing the CI/CD toolchain.
- Developing effective monitoring and metrics.
- Identifying delivery bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Performing Site Reliability Engineering tasks as needed.
- Promoting best CI/CD practices.
