The Systems Analyst IV designs, configures, and maintains high-complexity enterprise software systems supporting the University's electronic research administration ecosystem. This includes leading system integrations, optimizing data flows, and providing expert guidance to other analysts and campus departments.

Assists with high-complexity research tasks, biological sampling of rivercane population genetics, and the creation of population inventory maps using GIS. Supports field activities and manages data collection for grant partners in Jena, Louisiana.

Assists in data management and integration across university, state, and federal agencies by developing ETL processes. Coordinates database creation, maintenance, and performance while analyzing environmental data to solve water security issues.

The Cartographer creates accurate, detailed maps and visual stories to communicate complex environmental data regarding water security. They collaborate with GIS specialists and scientists to produce spatial information that informs policy and decision makers.

Provide professional development coaching on various topics to stipend recipients. Support the needs of the University of Alabama School of Social Work and the Department of Human Resources.
