The Injury Management Specialist proactively manages workers' compensation claims to facilitate early and safe return-to-work outcomes for employees. Key duties include coaching employers on claims reporting, liaising with provincial Workers' Compensation Boards, and managing a caseload of 45-50 files.

You will assess disability claims for benefit eligibility and develop proactive case management plans to facilitate return-to-work outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders and healthcare providers to identify barriers and implement effective rehabilitation strategies.

The Case Manager will adjudicate long-term disability claims within established timeframes and manage a caseload of new and ongoing files. They will collaborate with the early intervention team and rehab coordinators to support return-to-work outcomes while maintaining proactive communication with claimants.
