Working Student - Data Analytics in Controlling (f/m/d)

YOUR TEAM

To support our Financial Reporting & Analytics team, we are currently looking for an working student. In your role, you will get first-hand experience in financial reporting and analytics and will be an integral part of the team that works on designing and developing the central financial reporting for our company. Our users range from operational controllers to the Management Board. We analyze data and processes, derive potential for optimization, and continuously develop our systems. Using state-of-the-art technologies, we take finance to the next level – data-driven, efficient and future-oriented.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Further development of the existing central reporting using dashboards
• Design and implementation of data pipelines and data lake architectures
• Analysis, optimization, and further development of existing processes in the finance area
• Standardization and automation of data and processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Support in the creation of (international) training materials

WHO YOU ARE

• Enrolled student in the area of Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Management Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable degree program with a quantitative focus
• Initial programming experience (e.g. in Python, R)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is desirable
• Experience with Azure Synapse is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
• Ideally, first insights into finance or controlling
• Very good English and German language skills
• Strong analytical skills, high level of initiative, and team spirit

• Remote work options within Germany
• Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
• 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
• Salary: 17,80€/hour
