  • Architect end-to-end professional services processes that support: Project, contract, customer, and worktag setup. Time and expense capture, approval, and corrections.
  • Billing schedules, billable transactions, invoice creation, adjustments, and special handling
  • Revenue schedules, revenue recognition, intercompany activity, and accounting alignment
  • Accounts receivable, cash application, collections, write-offs, and customer account management
  • Utilization, project performance, margin, operational, and financial reporting

This role goes well beyond maintaining current tools. You will:

  • Shape the future of a strategic enterprise platform that connects project delivery, time, billing, revenue, receivables, and financial reporting in one integrated operating model.
  • Balance global standards with regional and business requirements, designing solutions that are scalable across countries, legal entities, currencies, tax regimes, and professional services business models.
  • Play a central role in finance and operations transformation by simplifying fragmented processes, strengthening controls, improving data quality, and enabling more consistent client and colleague experiences.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership in a fast paced, matrixed environment, explaining complex designs, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs to both technical and business audiences.
  • Influence platform strategy, sequencing, and investment decisions while remaining close enough to the technology to validate designs and solve difficult problems.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Extensive hands-on experience architecting, configuring, and supporting Workday PSA and related Workday Financials capabilities in a complex global environment.

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience with enterprise financial systems or professional services technology, including 5+ years of Workday Financials and PSA implementation, configuration, architecture, or consulting experience.
