Workday HRIS Manager - Hybrid or Remote within the UK

The Role:
The Workday HRIS Manager is responsible for leading the HR technology initiatives to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology for HR within ICON. The role holder will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and implementing HR systems and software to enhance our HR processes and drive business success.
- HR Tech Team Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the team. Lead and manage contactor resource, providing leadership and creating an open collaborative culture within the team.
- Change Management & Tech Support: Oversee System enhancement & integrations. Provide technical consulting and hands on assistance as required during critical situations when issues arise. Attend the Change Advisory Board Change Management: (CAB) meetings and problem management meetings to gain an awareness of changes to the Workday system and related architecture to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- HR Technology Strategy: Work with the HR Technology Directors and wider HR Stakeholders to develop and implement the HR technology strategy for ICON
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR data, develop reporting and analytics capabilities, and utilize data-driven insights to improve HR processes.
- User Support: Provide support and training to HR staff and end-users to maximize the utilization of HR technology tools.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure system Compliance and Security standards are met. Oversee implementation of security measures to protect sensitive employee data. Drive robust audit processes to ensure the technical integrity of the information in the HRIS system and comply with SOX requirements.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage SLAs.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with HR stakeholders and wider ICON stakeholders. Act as an escalation point for system related problems. Work with stakeholders to build agreed and tangible business solutions.
- HR Process Improvement: Drive Process Improvement. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology and automation. Proven track record of implementing strategic goals eg. automation.

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Workday Technology with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Excellent managerial/team lead experience skills with the ability to lead system implementation projects.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with system integrations and data management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
