Vice-President Corporate Partnerships

Family Promise is the nation's leading nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending family homelessness. Through our national federated network of nearly 180 locations, Family Promise mobilizes community stakeholders to provide prevention and shelter services, housing stabilization services, and affordable permanent housing to families with children in a housing crisis.

As the organization enters its next chapter of growth and national impact, we are seeking a Vice President of Corporate Partnerships who will lead Family Promise's national corporate partnership strategy, grow corporate revenue, strengthen existing partnerships, and build a robust pipeline of new corporate relationships.

The Opportunity

The Vice President of Corporate Partnerships is a senior development leader responsible for setting and executing Family Promise's national corporate partnership strategy. Working within a national federated model, the Vice President serves as a critical bridge between the national office, corporate partners, and internal teams, developing partnerships that advance Family Promise's mission while creating meaningful opportunities for corporate partners.

This role owns the full corporate partnership lifecycle - from prospect identification and qualification through cultivation, solicitation, negotiation, activation, stewardship, renewal, and expansion. The Vice President will build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that may include philanthropic investments, sponsorships, cause marketing, workplace giving, and other strategic opportunities.

The Vice President will have the opportunity to develop a Corporate Partnerships team and serve as a senior adviser to organizational leadership on corporate fundraising, partnership strategy, market opportunities, and emerging trends in corporate philanthropy.

What You Will Lead and Own

Corporate Partnership Strategy & Revenue Growth

• Develop and execute a comprehensive national corporate partnership strategy aligned with Family Promise's mission, strategic plan, and annual revenue goals.
• Establish annual and multi-year corporate revenue goals, pipeline targets, retention objectives, and partnership growth strategies.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified corporate prospects capable of generating significant new revenue.
• Identify emerging industries, companies, and partnership opportunities that align with organizational priorities and mission.
• Develop strategies to diversify and build corporate revenue streams.
• Provide regular forecasting, pipeline analysis, and revenue reporting to the Chief Development Officer and senior leadership.

New Business Development

• Lead the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and closing of significant national corporate partnerships.
• Build relationships with senior corporate decision-makers, including executives in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, community affairs, marketing, human resources, employee engagement, and related functions.
• Develop customized partnership opportunities that align corporate interests with Family Promise's mission, programs, and geographic reach.
• Lead high-level presentations, proposals, negotiations, and partnership agreements.
• Represent Family Promise at corporate meetings, industry gatherings, conferences, and other external events.
• Engage executive leadership, Board members, volunteers, and network leaders in opening doors and advancing high-value corporate prospects.

Corporate Partner Management, Stewardship & Growth

• Oversee a portfolio of Family Promise's most significant national corporate relationships.
• Develop annual relationship and growth plans for priority partners, including revenue goals, engagement strategies, stewardship activities, renewal timelines, and expansion opportunities.
• Build multi-year partnerships designed to increase both financial investment and mission engagement.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships through philanthropy, sponsorship, cause marketing, employee engagement, workplace giving, and other forms of partnership.
• Ensure partners receive timely, meaningful reporting demonstrating the impact of their investment.
• Lead renewal and upgrade strategies for major national corporate partners.
• Serve as an executive-level relationship manager and escalation point for complex or highly strategic partnerships.

Partnership Activation & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate closely with Programs, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and Affiliate Services to develop and execute successful partnerships.
• Ensure partnership agreements clearly define deliverables, financial commitments, responsibilities, timelines, recognition, reporting, and expectations.
• Establish internal processes for evaluating new partnership opportunities before commitments are made to corporate partners.
• Coordinate complex partnership activations involving multiple departments.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications on cause-marketing campaigns, sponsorship recognition, storytelling, and corporate communications.
• Partner with Programs and leadership to ensure corporate partnerships support mission priorities and can be successfully delivered.
• Work with Finance team to ensure accurate revenue forecasting, gift processing, budgeting, reporting, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7+ years of significant progressive experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, strategic partnerships, and/or sponsorship.
• Demonstrated success securing and growing significant multi-year corporate partnerships at the national level and achieving ambitious revenue goals.
• Experience working within a national nonprofit, chapter-based organization, federation, or similarly complex organization strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate relationships involving national stakeholders with differing priorities and responsibilities.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing fundraising or partnership professionals.
• Strong understanding of corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, sponsorship, employee engagement, and related partnership models.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing a substantial prospect pipeline.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, proposal development, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and influence colleagues without direct authority.
• Strong financial acumen, including revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, budgeting, and performance management.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage portfolios, pipelines, activities, and forecasts.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive communication skills.

Work Environment & Benefits

• Remote position with regular national travel required for corporate partner meetings, conferences, events, and other organizational activities.
• Work schedule primarily aligned with the Eastern Time zone.

• Salary range starting at $110,000.
