As a Vendor Manager, you will play a key role in building and scaling professional services that support leave of absence, disability, and accommodation programs for a global workforce. This role combines vendor management, financial analysis, contract negotiation, and operational excellence to drive high performance and long-term, cost-effective growth across the vendor ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end vendor contract lifecycles, including new contracts, renewals, and amendments across a diverse portfolio of vendors.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security, and other internal teams to source, negotiate, and execute vendor contracts, including complex multi-vendor RFPs and global engagements.
  • Lead third-party security and compliance reviews across all vendors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Oversee vendor financial operations, including purchase order creation and amendments, invoicing and payment processing, monthly accruals, and budget forecasting in collaboration with Business, Cost, and Finance teams.
  • Onboard new vendors through established processes, including compliance onboarding, security reviews, and performance management setup.
  • Manage vendor performance against contractual SLAs and budget, prepare budget-to-actual analyses, identify risks, and partner with Finance and Service Delivery teams on strategic plans to optimize performance and costs.
  • Navigate global vendor complexities, including in-country signatory requirements, legal and tax considerations, and country-specific compliance nuances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve vendor escalations such as payment delinquencies, invoicing disputes, service failures, and purchase order or invoicing violations with urgency and sound judgment.
  • Provide ad hoc and regularly scheduled updates to leadership on vendor portfolio health, contract status, financial performance, and compliance posture.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on contract terms for Service Delivery teams, internal customers, and leaders, ensuring clear understanding and appropriate application of contractual obligations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in vendor management, finance, procurement, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience managing vendor contract lifecycles, including negotiations, renewals, and amendments with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor financial operations, including purchase orders, invoicing, accruals, and budget forecasting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • HR experience or exposure to HR processes and practices, particularly related to leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services.

This role operates in a 100% remote work environment, offering flexibility in location while collaborating with global teams and vendors. You will work extensively with digital tools and systems to manage contracts, financial operations, security reviews, and performance reporting. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. You will engage with stakeholders across multiple time zones and geographies, supporting a global vendor portfolio and contributing to a culture that strives to be an outstanding employer. Dress code is generally aligned with a professional remote setting, suitable for virtual meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
