The Role
We’re hiring a University Sales Account Executive to grow CodeSignal’s higher education partnerships and revenue. You will build pipelines with universities and workforce-oriented institutions, run a consultative sales process, and close institution-wide programs aligned to student success and employability outcomes.
You’ll shape our Higher Ed growth motion-helping institutions deliver measurable skills outcomes for students in a rapidly changing job market.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle sales for Higher Education: prospecting → discovery → solutioning → proposal → procurement → close → launch → expansion.
- Engage the right stakeholders across universities (continuing ed, academic leadership, departments, innovation, online programs, career services, workforce development).
- Position CodeSignal solutions for university use cases (career readiness, curriculum-aligned practice, AI upskilling, skills and competency verification).
- Coordinate pilots with clear success criteria and pathways to expansion (more students, more programs, campus-wide adoption).
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales and Product to ensure smooth onboarding and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and account plans.
- Advise university leaders on emerging needs, AI-readiness strategies, internal business cases, and scalable partnership models that drive measurable outcomes.
- Translate market and customer insights into Higher Education GTM strategy, positioning, product priorities, and repeatable growth plays.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience selling into Higher Education (EdTech/SaaS preferred).
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups and procurement cycles.
- Strong consultative selling skills and executive presence.
- Comfortable translating outcomes into metrics (adoption, completion, readiness, placement signals, employer engagement).
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LMS/LTI environments and institution-wide deployments.
- Background in workforce development, career readiness, or employer partnership programs.
