About The Roll 

We’re seeking a Product Designer to help our team expand our approach, philosophy, and delivery of core products. In this role, you’ll be part of a centralized design team, where you’ll be working in and on our enterprise design system while primarily focusing on the product delivery of data-centric solutions for healthcare payers and providers. As such, an ability to execute on data presentation and visualizaiton will be key for successs in the role. 

What you’ll be responsible for 

• Designing product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business potential. 

• Delivering artifacts at all stages of the design process: user flows, visual mockups, data visualizations, prototypes, and user testing synthesis 

• Having perspectives on your work and communicating them in written form (UX recommendation decks, Figma files, Confluence pages, etc.) 

• Working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, data, and your design colleagues 

• Contributing to and operating within a Design Language System  

• Furthering design culture (a spirit of collaborativeness, exploration through doing, promoting psychological safety) 

Qualifactions 

• 2-5 years of experience crafting and shipping user experiences either in-house or at an agency 

• Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions 

Skills you bring to the table 

• Expertise in one to two core design skills (eg. visual design, interaction design, design systems, etc.) 

• Experience with qualitative user research 

• Experience with data presentation and visualization 

• Strong foundational skills in both written and verbal communication 

• You have strong, yet loosely held perspectives. You're a good listener who collaborates well with different stakeholders. 

• Experience working with Development and Product teams side-by-side through an agile process 

• Ability to contribute to recruiting, hiring, and developing of team/company culture 

Nice to have: 

• Experience working with Angular/Material design 

• Experience working in healthcare 

Additional Details: 

• This role will report to one of our Product Design Managers 

• This position is remote – preference for East Coast candidates as most of the team is located in New York
