Northern Medical Connections (NMC) is currently seeking Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) to fill exciting travel nursing opportunities within Canada!


NMC is a preferred Canadian travel nurse agency, proudly based in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), on Mi’kmaq territory. We honour Indigenous lands & communities across Canada. We are all Treaty People.

NMC Onboarding Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to travel for work term assignments - flexible contract lengths available
  • Minimum of two years of Canadian nursing experience in your specialty, including at least one year of recent experience in that same specialty.
  • A current, active, and in good standing nursing licenses with your respective Canadian provincial/territorial College
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
  • A valid BLS certification completed through an in-person course
  • Current CTAS, ACLS, TNCC, ITLS, NRP, PALS and/or ENCP Certifications are considered an asset and may be required depending on assignment
  • Proof of current immunization for MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Covid 19, Polio and Hepatitis B
  • Proof of Tdap booster within the past ten years
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past ten years or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
  • Proof of N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate within the past two years (3M 1870+, 3M 1860, 3M 1860S  most commonly accepted)
