As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salute Training Specialist to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.
A Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and delivering training programs that support employee development and align with company goals. This role involves conducting training needs assessments, designing instructional materials, and managing training and logistics.
Salary: $75K/yr + 3% annual bonus (based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 8am-5pm (Monday – Friday)
Location: 100% Remote

Core Duties and Responsibilities
New Hire Tracking & Data Management
- Review the daily list of new hires starting that day to prepare for their first week.
- Update the Salute Onboarding Tracking Tool (Excel) as the source of truth for new hire status.
- Continually check in on new hires throughout new hire training, including confirming system access, and updating the tracking spreadsheet accordingly.
Learning Plan & Training Completion Management
- Send weekly training reminders to new hires with incomplete learning plans or courses.
- Send emails to new hires who are behind on their learning plan, escalating Week 3 cases to the appropriate lead.
- Send emails to new hires who remain behind on their learning plan.
- Send weekly learning plan dashboards to clients.
- Perform daily approvals in Salute University for new hire course completions.
- Perform daily upkeep of new hire records and progress in Docebo.
Recurring Check-Ins & Calls
- Facilitate the Training Introduction call every Monday, setting expectations and showing new hires what Docebo is and how to start training.
- Send expectation letters to new hires after the Monday training introduction call.
- Participate in the Foundational check-in call every other Monday.
- Hold weekly calls with clients to discuss new hires, new training, and general updates.
- Send the learning plan dashboard to the stakeholders/client representatives.
- Hold regular touch base calls with the ICX side of the business on new processes or procedures.
Weekly Communication Cadence
- Prepare and send email communications to new hires and stakeholders about course/learning plan completion.
- Gather data for new hires starting the following week and send email communication to new hires/stakeholders about the Monday training call.
New Hire Support
- Monitor and respond to new hire questions throughout the week, escalating to the appropriate lead or manager when needed.
Reporting & Trend Analysis
- Track trends in training completions using established reports and dashboards.
- Send training completion trend reports to Operations on a regular basis.
Program Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline the check-in and communication cadence as the training program matures.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in training coordination, onboarding program management, or a related learning and development leadership role.
- Experience managing new hire tracking systems and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Prior experience leading recurring stakeholder or client-facing calls.
- Experience identifying and escalating at-risk new hires based on progress data.
- Experience partnering with HR and IT on new hire credentialing and system access.
- Experience compiling and reporting on training completion data or trends preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent new hire cohorts on a structured weekly cadence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead calls and communicate clearly with new hires, trainers, and leadership.
- Proficiency in Excel and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with safety/compliance training requirements (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) as they relate to LMS course approvals is a plus.
- Ability to build rapport with new hires and foster a positive, supportive training experience.
- Comfort with data — able to track completion trends and identify new hires who need additional support.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and escalate at-risk new hires early.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, client teams, and training leadership to keep onboarding on track.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The salary rate for this role starts at $75,000 per year. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave.
