Trainee Sourcing

Your mission

Are you a student or graduate looking to gain professional experience in a global corporate environment? We are looking for a Trainee to join our Services Sourcing team in Poland for a 6-month placement.

As a Trainee Sourcing, you will play a vital role in coordinating procurement activities, executing vendor requests, and driving efficiency within our operational processes. Your goal is to run RFQs effectively and act as a reliable link between suppliers and internal departments, helping bridge the gap between business operations and technical product execution.

Duration: Temporary 6 months position

Location: Remote work within Poland is acceptable. (if based in Gdańsk, HIAB Office can be used)

Key responsibilities

• Preparing detailed materials and documentation for vendor RFQs (Request For Quotations).
• Running and managing RFQs within standard Services Sourcing operations.
• Communicating and maintaining with selected suppliers.
• Co-operating and aligning closely with Sourcing, R&D, Supply Chain, teams internally within HIAB.

What we are looking for

• You are currently a Student or possess a relevant academic background, preferably in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Preferably some initial work experience is considered an asset.
• Competencies: an independent and proactive "can-do" attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• A natural motivation and curiosity towards technical engineering products.
• Fluency in English language (at least B2/C1 level).
