Why This Job Exists 

Life is Good's wholesale business grows through the retail partners who carry the brand, and this role exists to manage and grow those partnerships across New England. You strengthen existing accounts, open new ones, and expand the brand's presence across specialty retail, outdoor, gift, and destination channels. You bring the brand's optimistic spirit to every customer meeting and turn seasonal sell-in into lasting account growth. 

Requirements

What You Know and Have Done

• You have at least 5 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development, preferably within apparel, fashion, outdoor, or lifestyle brands. 

• You have a proven track record of growing existing accounts, achieving sales goals, and developing new business across multiple distribution channels. 

• You have strong commercial and analytical skills and can turn business performance into actionable opportunities. 

• You are an excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator, and you build relationships easily. 

• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with B2B wholesale platforms such as NuORDER. 

• You live in New England, within reasonable commuting distance of both the Boston, MA and Hudson, NH offices. 

• You hold a valid U.S. driver's license and are willing to travel throughout the territory for customer visits, seasonal sell-in meetings, and trade shows. 

What You'll Do 

• You grow existing wholesale partnerships by building strong relationships with retail accounts, finding ways to increase sales and expand assortments, and driving long-term account growth. 

• You develop new business by identifying, prospecting, and securing new wholesale accounts across specialty retail, outdoor, gift, destination and resort, and other relevant channels. 

• You lead seasonal product presentations, line reviews, and sell-in meetings to maximize order volume and strengthen customer engagement. 

• You develop and execute a territory business plan focused on sales growth, account development, new business, and customer retention. 

• You analyze account performance, sales trends, product assortments, and market opportunities to build growth strategies you can act on. 

• You tailor your sales approach to the needs of different retail partners and look for ways to expand Life is Good's reach. 

• You represent Life is Good in the market through customer visits, trade shows, and market events, and use the Boston and Hudson showrooms for customer meetings and seasonal sell-in appointments. 

• You partner with sales operations, merchandising, marketing, and customer care to support account needs and deliver an excellent wholesale experience. 

• You use AI tools to prepare for account meetings, draft follow-ups and recaps, and spot patterns in sales data, so more of your time goes to customers.
