Position Summary

Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

• 2–5 years of sales, territory management, or agency-facing experience

• Property & Casualty insurance experience required (non-standard auto preferred)

• Strong working knowledge of independent agency distribution models

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/agency management platforms

• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate state licensing if required

Responsibilities

Drive Profitable Growth: Manage and grow a territory by balancing production, loss ratio, and business mix targets
Agency Development & Appointment: Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential independent agencies aligned with company strategy
Agency Performance Management: Actively manage agency partners through regular engagement, performance reviews, and action plans
Territory Strategy Execution: Develop and execute territory plans using data, market insights, and competitive intelligence
Sales Execution: Conduct effective in-person and virtual sales calls using a structured sales approach
Training & Enablement: Train agency staff on products, underwriting appetite, and technology platforms to drive adoption and production
Data & Analytics Utilization: Leverage reporting tools to identify trends, diagnose issues, and prioritize opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with underwriting, product, and marketing teams to align initiatives and resolve issues
Market Intelligence: Provide timely and actionable feedback on competitors, pricing, and agency sentiment
Operational Discipline: Maintain accurate reporting, pipeline tracking, and activity documentation
