We are seeking an experienced Technology Integration & Support Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contract basis.

This role will support technology operations across our growing network of dental practices, with a focus on MSP management, dental technology, PMS conversions, Microsoft 365 administration, system integrations, and practice-level technology support.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and/or dental practice technology and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

At the conclusion of the 1-year contract, Guardian will reevaluate business and technology needs to determine future opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technology onboarding and PMS conversions during practice transitions.
  • Partner with and manage external MSPs, including coordinating service requests, dispatches, escalations, and resolutions.
  • Support core platforms including Denticon, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, EDR, and RMM.
  • Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, access, equipment, and technology setup.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, IAM, endpoint compliance, and device lifecycle management.
  • Manage domains, DNS, technology orders, and internal IT tickets through Freshdesk.
  • Support SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power Automate, and SSO integrations.
  • Partner with technology vendors and third-party dental platforms such as Jarvis and Dental Intelligence.
  • Maintain security best practices related to MFA, endpoint protection, access control, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Clinical, and Revenue Cycle teams to ensure technology supports business needs.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience working with an MSP and/or dental practice technology.
  • Hands-on experience with PMS conversions.
  • Experience with one or more dental PMS platforms such as Denticon, Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and identity/access management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, and endpoint management.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across a remote organization.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Dental or DSO experience.
  • Experience managing MSP/vendor relationships.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, Power Automate, or SSO.
  • Experience training end users on PMS or technology systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong ownership mindset and willingness to jump in and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and practice needs simultaneously.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technology and systems.
  • A customer-focused approach to supporting dental practices and internal teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 – $85,000 + performance-based bonus opportunity
  • 1-year contract position with benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Generous PTO + paid holidays
  • Remote role with flexibility and autonomy
  • Opportunity to work with a rapidly growing Dental Partnership Network
  • Exposure to enterprise-level technology integrations and large-scale projects
