The Technical Operations Leader is responsible for driving system performance and providing technical guidance to regional sites. They will oversee the rollout of new technologies, manage inventory initiatives, and lead technical training for operations engineers.
Mission
As the Technical Operations Leader, your mission is to drive the highest possible level of system performance by ensuring the highest level of technical competence at the sites, communicating proactive solutions to common problems and working to support each site develop a proactive approach to maintenance and operation.
Challenges we trust you with
Provide technical report to regional technical manager and support STL and SM for technical questions/operation
Provide support for technical training of the operations engineers and continuing technical development for all of the site technical leaders
Responsible for leading the introduction of new technology (systems, hardware) throughout the region
Ownership of the problem solving methodology and skill development for the region
Analyzing reports to identify technical anomalies
Responsible for developing and providing the inventory and parts management initiatives for the region
Providing technical support to the site management team:
Identify key actionable issues to reduce volume of incidents
Assist site management team with identifying actions to take
Provide training when necessary to maintain or develop technical proficiency
Conduct periodic audits of the sites (requested by site management team)
Provide development and leadership of the succession planning for Site Technical Leaders
Selection of appropriate sites and monitoring progress in rollout of R&D (Research and Development) initiatives
Represent the region to help determine/evaluate/prioritize service pack contents
Overseeing the regional training for and rollout of CMMS and SMI and other tools as developed
Represent IBA in technical direction setting discussions with clients
Leading actions which contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives; overall improving efficiency & productivity, particularly through lessons learnt
Be the "Scout" within the non conformity process

An experience as Site Technical Leader or experienced engineer in multiple domains
Recognized technical leadership and are able to coordinate technical discussion
A passion for growing and developing technical talent
Deep technical expertise of the PT equipment or a specific subsystem and a willingness to continually broaden your technical knowledge
Strong organization and problem solving skills
Being autonomous and have a strong team spirit
The ability to establish technical guidance and drive its adoption across the region
Willingness to exercise leadership in a technical arena
Very good oral and written communication skills in English
Understanding of different cultures
