About the Role

• Create clear, accurate and practical learning resources covering OpenAI Codex, AI-assisted development, APIs, cloud technologies and developer workflows.
• Develop technical onboarding materials, implementation guides, product tutorials, demonstrations and walkthroughs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible explanations, practical examples and real-world scenarios.
• Interpret technical documentation and specifications, identifying gaps and working with subject matter experts to validate information.

Learning Design and Storytelling

• Turn briefs and technical information into logical, engaging content that meets defined learning objectives.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to support knowledge retention and practical application.
• Adapt content for different audiences, including developers, implementation specialists, enterprise users and customer-facing teams.
• Create e-learning scripts, storyboards, training presentations, job aids, reference guides, scenarios and knowledge checks.
• Recommend appropriate formats to make technical information as useful and accessible as possible.

Technical Accuracy and Quality

• Take responsibility for the accuracy, clarity and completeness of assigned content.
• Validate technical explanations, workflows and examples against approved documentation and subject matter expert input.
• Identify unsupported claims, misleading simplifications and inconsistent terminology before final delivery.
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining technical precision, accessibility and editorial standards.

AI-Enabled Content Development

• Use approved AI tools to support research, content structuring, drafting, editing and refinement.
• Apply practical Codex experience to develop credible technical learning materials and examples.
• Critically review AI-generated outputs rather than relying on them without validation.
• Follow confidentiality, data protection and client-specific requirements for AI use.
• Identify opportunities to improve content quality and production efficiency.

Collaboration and Delivery

• Work closely with project leads, designers, technical specialists and stakeholders.
• Manage content deliverables independently, maintaining timelines, documentation and version control.
• Use collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Slides and Drive.
• Communicate progress proactively, flag risks and technical uncertainties early, and recommend practical solutions.
• Respond constructively to feedback and changing requirements while maintaining delivery commitments.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven, hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex in software development or AI-assisted coding workflows.
• A solid understanding of APIs, including authentication, endpoints, requests, responses, integrations and error handling.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, software integrations and developer environments.
• Experience creating technical learning, documentation or enablement content for enterprise, B2B, SaaS or developer audiences.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy.
• Understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Confidence interpreting technical documentation and collaborating with subject matter experts to validate content.
• Experience using AI tools to support content development, with strong independent judgement and quality control.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deliverables from brief through to approval.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to integrate quickly into an established team.

Your First 90 Days

First 30 days — Understand: Build context, familiarise yourself with the technical requirements and content standards, and produce an initial content asset or substantial draft.

Days 31–60 — Deliver: Independently develop agreed technical learning materials, validate content with subject matter experts and demonstrate consistent quality.

Days 61–90 — Own: Manage content from brief to approval, deliver reliably and identify opportunities to improve content quality or production workflows.
