Purpose Summary 

The Districts Service Delivery Consultant will work as a member of the Districts Service Delivery Partner team role and will focus on teacher effectiveness and student success with Pearson’s District Partnerships. Responsibilities for this role include teacher hiring and onboarding, professional development, daily supervision and evaluation for teachers, and departmental projects as assigned. The Consultant will report to the Districts Service Delivery Partner. 

 

Core Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Cultivates a positive, inclusive work environment  

  • Supports organizational redesign and provides coaching and training to help the team during the transition  

  • Leads the successful delivery of services and supports to a group of partner schools 

  • Builds meaningful relationships with school leaders to build trust and credibility to the services provided in collaboration with School Success Partners 

  • Provides ongoing leadership to a cross-functional team responsible for service delivery to assigned partner schools  

  • Manages the coordination of services that are being delivered to meet the needs of assigned partner schools  

  • In collaboration with Success Partner, identifies teacher staffing needs and work collaboratively with School Leaders, Teaching Manager, Academic Services Partner, and Human Resources to fill roles  

  • Ensures regulatory compliances for all delivered services 

  • Collaborates with Academic Services to ensure members of the cross-functional team are developed and prepared to meet the needs of partner schools  

  • Collaborates with other Service Delivery Partners to ensure cohesive and aligned services are delivered to all partner schools  

  • Leads and monitors team’s goals, holding self and managers accountable for outcomes  

  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to advance the success of schools, the department, and the company  

  • Hires, supervises, and assesses team performance, providing feedback for growth  

  • Manages a budget that is aligned with the department’s priorities  

  • Serves as a think-partner and collaborator to staff   

  • Performs other duties as assigned  

 

 

Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies 

 

  • Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree is preferred) 

  • Experience in K-12 teaching (virtual teaching experience preferred) 

  • Experience supervising educators in an academic setting 

  • Master’s degree in a related field required 

  • Valid teaching credential (any state) 

  • Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to accountability toward student performance outcomes 

  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret performance-based data 

  • Comfortable presenting information to both small and large groups 

  • Technologically proficient (especially with the use of Microsoft Office and Google Apps) 

  • Customer focused approach, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written·      

  • Innovative and creative problem solver, with a high degree of adaptability to shift priorities 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Team player-- demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and delegate responsibility to accomplish objectives 

  • Some travel may be required 

 

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location. 

 
The full-time salary range for this role is $68,000 – $73,000.
