Our client is looking for a Part-Time Real Estate Research & Data Entry Assistant to support property prospecting by researching public records, gathering ownership information, organizing property data, and preparing accurate lists for outreach. They operate within the U.S. residential real estate investment industry and are part of an established nationwide network with decades of experience helping homeowners navigate property transactions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, researching information across multiple sources, and turning raw property records into clean, usable information. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, independent, and comfortable navigating county websites and online resources to locate and verify information.
Responsibilities
- Research property information using U.S. county websites, public records, Google, and other relevant online sources.
- Pull property lists and related records from county databases based on established search criteria.
- Research and identify property owners and relevant ownership information using multiple sources.
- Cross-reference information from different databases to improve data accuracy and completeness.
- Clean, verify, standardize, and organize property and owner data before it is provided to the outreach team.
- Consolidate information from multiple sources into structured Excel spreadsheets and prospecting lists.
- Review records carefully for duplicates, missing information, inconsistencies, and other data-quality issues.
- Maintain accurate formatting and organization across prospecting databases and spreadsheets.
- Prepare completed datasets so the outreach team can efficiently use them for prospecting activities.
- Conduct additional real estate and property research as requested.
- Keep research and data-entry assignments organized and complete them within established deadlines.
- Provide occasional follow-up support with clients or other contacts when needed.
- Communicate clearly when information cannot be verified or additional research is required.
- Work proactively and independently while keeping the team informed of progress, issues, and completed assignments.
Requirements
- Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
- Strong data-entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong online research capabilities and the ability to locate information across multiple sources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing, cleaning, sorting, and managing data.
- Confidence using Google and other online research tools.
- Ability to navigate unfamiliar websites and databases independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented approach to assigned tasks.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-intensive research while maintaining consistent accuracy.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, internet research, lead research, list building, or data management.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and large volumes of structured information.
- Demonstrated ability to research, validate, and organize information from multiple online sources.
- Previous real estate research, property research, or real estate data experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience navigating U.S. county property records, assessor databases, tax records, or similar public-record systems is a strong plus.
- Experience preparing prospect lists or supporting lead-generation/outreach teams is beneficial.
- Comfortable learning new county databases, property terminology, and research processes.
