The coordinator supports the teacher recruitment, selection, and matching processes by managing applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining hiring data. They also serve as a primary point of contact for applicants and collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
The Teacher Recruitment and Selection Coordinator reports to the Director of Teacher Recruitment and supports the recruitment, selection and matching processes within the Teacher Recruitment department. Specific responsibilities include:

Contract duration: September 14, 2026 – June 9, 2028
Desired Experience: 1-2 years’ experience working in HR or related fields
Proven customer service skills
Experience working in an education setting would be a strong asset
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
Location: This is a primarily remote (work-from-home) position. No regular travel is expected at this time, though occasional travel for meetings, in-person programming, and related work obligations may be required over the course of the contract, as directed by Gakino'amaage: Teach For Canada.
