Tax Preparer (US)

Senior Tax Preparer (US-Based Direct Client) 
Remote | Full-Time | Direct Hire | Pacific Time Zones 

LTD Global is hiring an experienced Senior Tax Preparer / Tax Accountant to support US-based clients. This role is for professionals with strong, hands-on experience in high-volume individual and business tax preparation who can work independently with minimal supervision. 

Minimum Requirements 

• At least 4 years of direct tax preparation experience 
• 300+ individual (Form 1040) returns prepared 
• 150+ business returns (Forms 1120 and 1065) prepared 

Required Experience 

• Individual and business tax preparation (1040, 1120, 1065) 
• Workpapers, trial balances, and book-to-tax adjustments 
• Short-term and long-term rental activities, including Airbnb 
• K-1s and proper flow-through treatment 
• Multi-state and SALT filings, including apportionment 
• Exposure to clients across real estate, retail, technology, professional services, restaurants, and hospitality 
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS and QuickBooks Online (QBO) 

Nice to Have 

• Cost segregation and depreciation concepts 
• Stock-based compensation (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs) 
• Section 1031 like-kind exchanges 
• Client correspondence and tax notice resolution (IRS, FTB)
