The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays an important role in supporting talent acquisition across our European Wax Center locations. This position partners closely with Talent Operations and field leadership to identify hiring priorities, engage qualified candidates, conduct initial screenings, and help maintain a professional and responsive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable independently managing multiple openings across a fast-paced, multi-location organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Talent Operations and field leaders to identify and prioritize current staffing needs
- Review incoming applications and proactively source qualified candidates through our applicant tracking system, job boards, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Recruit for Guest Service Associate, Wax Specialist, and center leadership positions across multiple European Wax Center locations
- Conduct structured phone screenings to evaluate relevant experience, qualifications, schedule availability, location preferences, and compensation expectations
- Provide clear screening notes and candidate recommendations to hiring managers
- Coordinate interviews between qualified candidates and center or field leadership
- Follow up with candidates and hiring teams regarding feedback, decisions, and next steps
- Maintain accurate and current candidate records, interview notes, and recruiting activity within Workable and internal staffing trackers
- Respond promptly and professionally to candidates and hiring teams during scheduled working hours
- Proactively communicate recruiting challenges, candidate pipeline concerns, delays, and decisions needed from leadership
- Track candidate outreach, screenings, interviews, and hiring progress and provide regular updates to Talent Operations
- Support recruiting campaigns, school partnerships, and local hiring events as assigned and coordinated in advance
- Protect confidential applicant information and consistently follow company recruiting procedures and standards

Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, candidate screening, talent acquisition, or related experience
- Experience supporting hourly or multi-location recruiting is preferred
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) is required; Workable experience is a plus
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and consistent with follow-through
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and changing hiring priorities
- Professional and responsive communication skills across phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Ability to maintain accurate recruiting records, notes, and documentation
- Comfortable working independently, meeting agreed recruiting goals, and keeping leadership informed without frequent reminders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Recruiting experience within the beauty, wellness, retail, hospitality, or other service industries is a plus
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a part-time, hourly position averaging approximately 15–20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. A consistent weekly schedule will be established with the manager based on recruiting and business needs.
The position is primarily remote and requires a quiet, dedicated workspace, reliable internet access, and the ability to participate professionally in phone calls, candidate interviews, and virtual meetings.
Candidates are ideally located in or near one of our European Wax Center markets across Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Tennessee. Proximity to one of our markets is preferred to support familiarity with local talent pools and potential school or recruiting events.
Occasional on-site attendance at recruiting events may be required and will be coordinated in advance based on business needs.
