Requirement: Systems and Software Development Specialist

Job Description: Forge Group requires a Software Development Specialist to become part of dynamic team supporting Department of War (DoW) customers. The project is a modern cloud-based custom software development engagement. This role will engage with a large development team and perform key development activities for critical application elements and modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality features using .NET/C# and following CI/CD processes.
• Perform unit testing on developed features, enhancements, and fixes to ensure product is ready for customer review
• Support customer feedback review and provide development team disposition on collected feedback as well as new feature and enhancement requests
• Develop detailed time and sizing estimates for technical tasking and user stories.
• Update product backlogs with latest ticket status
• Work with integrated project team to deploy latest code using CI/CD to associated Azure services (Azure SQL and Azure App Service/Functions)
• Document technical artifacts including data models, process flows, application, and interface design
• Development and maintenance of system architecture and requirements documentation
• Maintain Active Security Clearance

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• 5-8 years of professional experience 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with .NET/C#
• Experience with Visual Studio
• SQL/MSSQL Experience
• Front End Experience (React, Vue, Angular)
• Experience with CSS and HTML5
• Experience with MS Azure SQL and Azure App Service
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data
• Security+CE certification
• DoW Secret Clearance (or higher)

What level of DoD Security Clearance is required?: Secret

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) preferred
• Azure certification preferred

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year
