AI Summary

The Supervisor will act as a player-coach, managing a pod of 3-5 Provider Growth Associates while maintaining hands-on involvement in recruitment calls. They are responsible for driving team performance, providing training, and serving as a subject matter expert for cross-functional partners.

About Us:

Grow was born to tackle a critical challenge: making mental health care more effective and accessible for everyone. Since launching in 2020, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, and we've barely scratched the surface. We do it through a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Every solution we build reveals ten more waiting to be delivered, and that's just what gets us going. We've backed that ambition with more than $328M in funding, including our Series D at a $3B valuation from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, Menlo Ventures, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and others.

At Grow, the work you do can literally change someone's life. Your work here doesn't stay on a screen; it impacts whether someone can find, afford, and access quality care. That ambition sets us apart, and offers you an endless runway to impact one of the world's most urgent issues. We don’t have passenger seats here. Everyone is driving something that matters.

This work deserves real commitment. So if you thrive on meeting problems head on, untangling serious complexity, and working at pace with the sharpest yet kindest people around, you've come to the right place.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Prescriber Recruitment Supervisor to help us scale our PGA model, primarily focused on our Prescriber motion. As a player-coach, you'll manage a pod of 3-5 PGAs while staying close to the work yourself - coaching your team to convert interested providers into engaged, active members of our network. You'll be part of a team of 30+ PGAs organized across manager pods, reporting directly to the Director of Provider Recruitment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Serve as a player-coach for a pod of 3-5 PGAs, splitting your time between staying hands-on with your own calls (~25%) and running 1:1s, hands-on coaching, and training - including fielding questions from both ramping and tenured reps (~75%)

  • Foster a culture of accountability within your pod - partnering with leadership to uphold the team's performance bar while proactively identifying areas of improvement and building connection and engagement across your team

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all things Prescriber-related recruitment - including the specific deal process, state-by-state vetting and credentialing requirements - and be a go-to resource for your team and peers on these questions

  • Serve as the cross-functional SME on Prescriber recruitment for Credentialing, Product, Success, and Legal - partnering closely with these teams as our product and the regulatory landscape evolve, and translating changes into what they mean for the deal process and your team's day-to-day

  • Support pod-level communications, helping translate broader team and org updates into context your PGAs can act on

  • Co-lead organization-wide projects alongside managers, contributing your on-the-ground perspective to shape solutions that work in practice

  • Develop your own management and leadership skills through Grow's Sales Manager Academy, building the foundation for a future management role

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Proven top individual performance - you've consistently hit and exceeded goals as a PGA, and beyond that, you've proactively identified process improvements and brought real, well-formed solutions to the table; you've shown you can partner thoughtfully with leadership because of your boots-on-the-ground experience

  • Know when to escalate vs. solve solo - you crowdsource with peers to troubleshoot, and you bring well-thought-out problems and proposed solutions rather than just raising flags; you can clearly articulate tradeoffs from the perspective of PGAs, leadership, and the business

  • Think creatively and stay open-minded - you don't assume the way you did it before is the way to do it now; you bring strong opinions but hold them loosely and collaborate to find what actually works

  • Get in the trenches with your team - you lead by doing, not just by coaching from the sidelines; you're still spending real time on calls with providers, staying close to the day-to-day work alongside your PGAs

  • Lead with empathy - your shared experience on the front lines gives you a perspective others don't have; you bring that thoughtful, both-sides view into management and leadership conversations

  • Are AI-fluent and proactive about it - you've actively used AI in your own PGA role to work smarter, and you've shown you can teach and scale that fluency across your peers
