Job Title: Clinical Systems Workflow Development Specialist – Strategic Initiatives East

Reports to: Eastern Ops - Strategic Initiatives Clinical Systems Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

*This position does not meet the criteria for exemption from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act; thus you will be eligible to receive overtime compensation, as appropriate. Overtime requires prior approval from your supervisor.

 

Job Summary:

The Workflow Development Specialist supports the Strategic Initiatives team by developing and maintaining training materials for new features, workflows, and system enhancements within ERAD RIS and other supporting systems of the East Coast. This role works closely with the Strategic Initiatives Team to translate technical workflows into clear, user-friendly educational content that promotes efficient system adoption and standardized processes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop training materials, user guides, quick reference documents, and instructional content for new ERAD RIS features and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Initiatives Team to understand system updates, workflow changes, and implementation plans.
  • Create and maintain documentation that reflects current clinical workflows and best practices.
  • Develop training presentations, videos, job aids, and other educational resources, as needed.
  • Participate in workflow design and optimization discussions to ensure training materials accurately reflect operational processes.
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy following software upgrades or workflow changes.
  • Assist with end-user training sessions and provide support during new feature roll-outs.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and documentation.
  • Maintain version control and organization of training materials within designated repositories.
  • Support change management initiatives by communicating workflow updates in a clear and effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Must have a solid base knowledge of eRAD RIS.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Minimum of two years in Radiology.
  • Demonstrate strong operational, project management and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and to work them simultaneously (multi-task).
  • Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making.
  • Possess and utilizes excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and meet work schedules within limited time frames and under tight deadlines and willingness to work additional hours beyond your regular shift, as directed by management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability/flexibility to travel to/between sites as needed, must possess a valid/unrestricted State Driver’s License.
  • Understanding of Clinical Operations - to include registration and technologist workflow.
  • Ability to verbally express ideas and communicate thoughts clearly, concisely and logically.

  • Follows HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Practices universal safety precautions.
  • Promotes good public relations on the phone and in person.
  • Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems.
  • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours, meal and rest breaks, and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines.
  • Consistently adheres to the time management policies and procedures.
  • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.

 

Physical Demands:

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Must be able to use a computer and other office machinery including copiers, scanners and computer software.  Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~30% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.

 

Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
