Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant

Our client, a leading global investment management company, is hiring a Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant to support their team. This is a 1 year contract with 3 days onsite in Irvine, CA. *Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant Responsibilities:* * Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies for various technology categories, aiming for cost efficiencies and risk management. * Manage the end-to-end RFx processes, including designing and analyzing supplier proposals to ensure the best fit. * Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, balancing risk, value, and legal considerations. * Cultivate strong supplier relationships, monitor their performance, and drive continuous improvement. * Analyze spend data and utilize cost modeling to identify opportunities for savings and process optimization. * Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant Qualifications:* * Over 7 years of advanced strategic sourcing experience with a focus on technology procurement. * Deep understanding of sourcing principles, methodologies, and contract law, including SaaS and cloud-based enterprise applications. * Proven success in negotiations and contract management in a global environment. * Proficiency in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling. * Extensive knowledge of technology and labor supplier markets, as well as industry trends and competition. *Perks and Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. * Life Insurance. * 401(k) Program. * Commuter Benefit. * eLearning and Ongoing Training. * Education Reimbursement.
