Classes may be designed for teenagers, young adults, and adults, including individuals with disabilities and participants with little or no previous investing experience.

This position offers an opportunity to share financial knowledge while helping expand access to financial education in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate interactive stock market and investing classes.

  • Teach foundational concepts, including stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and index funds.

  • Explain how the stock market operates and how investment prices change.

  • Adapt instruction to different ages, learning styles, financial literacy levels, and abilities.

  • Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with HG Discover staff to develop curriculum, schedules, and educational activities.

All instruction must remain educational. Instructors must not provide individualized investment recommendations or manage participant funds unless separately authorized and appropriately registered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in investing, financial education, banking, accounting, economics, financial planning, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of stock market fundamentals and investment risks.

  • Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or facilitating workshops.
