✍ Short Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s lean and collaborative finance team. This person will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process as the company and its brands continue to grow. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a lean team environment, and experienced with NetSuite. This role offers a varied day-to-day workload where the candidate’s contributions will have a direct impact on the team’s success.

💼 Responsibilities:

• Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank accounts

• Prepare daily cash reports

• Enter and reconcile credit card transactions

• Download e-commerce marketplace deposit reports and create journal entries

• Perform month-end reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and customer liabilities

• Create intercompany invoices and journal entries

• Maintain fixed asset and related depreciation schedules

• Support the month-end close process

• Assist with sales tax prepayments and filings

• Assist with other accounting-related tasks and process creation

✅ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• 4+ years of general accounting experience

• Experience with NetSuite is required

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas

• Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative team environment

• Ability to handle hands-on accounting responsibilities and a varied workload

🎯 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce or DTC consumer retail companies

• Previous experience working with Bill.com

• Experience supporting accounting operations in a growing consumer goods environment

• Experience with tools such as Slack and Adobe Acrobat
